Khaosai Galaxy vs. David Griman

Now I’ll admit, you have to be a real boxing geek and the ultimate hardcore fan to know about the great Khaosia Galaxy. And I am certainly that. For those who don’t know, Galaxy (Sura Saenkham) was known as “The Thai Tyson” and one of the better fighters of the 1980’s. A Jr. Bantamweight champion for seven years (1984-1991) Galaxy made a division record 19 defenses of the WBA Jr. Bantamweight title with 16 of those defenses ending by way of KO. Bottom line, Galaxy was a beast who was outright feared during his day. While not the greatest boxer in the world Galaxy’s power was legendary and ranked right up there with the great punchers of the 1980’s such as Mike Tyson, Julian Jackson, and Tommy Hearns. Watch and enjoy this fight against future Flyweight champion David Griman from July 1991.
