Kell Brook vs. Errol Spence Jr. Weigh-In

Earlier today in Sheffield, England the weigh-in took place for the Welterweight showdown between IBF Welterweight champion Kell Brook and Errol Spence which will take place tomorrow evening live on Showtime. One of the biggest questions going into this fight was whether the defending champion Brook (36-1, 25 KO’s) can once again get down to the welterweight limit of 147lbs, especially given that in his last fight he jumped up two weight divisions to challenge Middleweight champion Gennady Golovkin. As it turns out during today’s weigh-in Brook indeed made weight coming in at 146.7 lbs. For his part Spence (21-0, 18 KO’s), a big guy welterweight himself weighed in at 146.6 lbs. Both fighters look to be in supreme condition. If today’s weigh-in is any indication both Brook and Spence look ready to put on a heck of an effort tomorrow night. Boxing fans will be watching for sure.

#BrookSpence Final Press Conference

By. BrotherJR

May 25, 2017

Earlier today in Sheffield, Eng., the final press conference was held for the upcoming fight between IBF Welterweight champion Kell Brook (36-1, 25 KO’s) and mandatory challenger Errol Spence Jr. (21-0, 18 KO’s) Some back and forth words were exchanged between the two camps (customary especially given what’s on the line) as both fighters seemed antsy and ready for what’s about to go down Saturday which will be aired live in the U.S. on Showtime (5 pm est). This fight has been long anticipated and it’s finally happening. Brook versus Spence Jr on paper looks to be a very good fight however long it last in what could be a fight between the two top Welterweights in the world.

Gervonta “Tank” Davis vs. Liam Walsh Final Press Conference

By. BrotherJR

May 18, 2017

This coming Saturday in London, Gervonta “Tank” Davis makes the first defense of his IBF Jr. Lightweight title against No. 1 contender Liam Walsh. “Tank” Davis is being hailed as one of the rising stars of boxing and Walsh, while largely unknown outside of England is a skillful boxer in his own right. Today was the final press conference and things got a bit heated between the two camp in particular between Floyd Mayweather (promoter of Gervonta Davis) and Walsh. Luckily for us U.S. fans, Davis – Walsh will be aired live on Showtime. Hopefully the fight will be as good as the trash talk during today’s press conference.
